Meet Ty Weathers
Producing since 1998. Founder of Burn County Music. The sound behind the Moonshine Bandits for two decades. Now he records people like you, on the Carolina coast.
Ty started producing West Coast rap in 1998 under the name Tyrant, with early work for artists like E-40, Bubba Sparxxx, and Messy Marv. Since 2003 he has been the studio hand shaping the Moonshine Bandits’ sound: Wikipedia credits him by name for it.
In 2025 he moved the whole operation to North Myrtle Beach and built Sand City Studio. Nine months later, “Outback” went RIAA gold. The room works.
